After reviewing the feedback on your argument essay, identify one thing you did well and one area you need to improve. Explain what you will do differently the next time you write an AP Lang argument essay.

One thing that I did well with my argument essay was making a good thesis statement. Something that I should work on next time with such kind of essays is giving more details about my evidence. Next time, I am going to take more time making links between my evidence and the main idea of my essay, also making transitions in my body paragraphs smoother.

Today in class, we read our feedback on the essay and then began our Adobe Express project, which includes writing our own poems and creating online posters on the related topic. I wrote my poem about time not standing still and us having to enjoy being in the moment, and I liked it very much.

Thinking about poetry writing and other kinds of creative tasks helps me develop my creative thinking skills and find new ways of presenting complex information. Also, it makes me stop and enjoy the present instead of being in a hurry all the time.
